Some random photographs that I've snapped on my journeys....

Really cool Yogi & Boo Boo lollipops promoting the recent movie. I picked these up at an RV show from a Jellystone Campground booth.

I love when they do plush of obscure or forgotten about characters. The Disney Store has (among other great plush) Clarabelle Cow and Professor Ludwig Von Drake. Both of these characters were all but forgotten, but now kids know them thanks to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

How sweet would it have been to have this as a kid. It's a replica of Oscar Mayer's famous Wienermobile, but it's a kid's ride on toy. You would have been pretty darn cool riding around the neighborhood in that as a kid, until you got to the age where kids started making jokes about you sitting on a wiener.

Photo Quiz

Why am I running this photo today?

A) Because it features my little brother (in the stripped shirt) and his buddies on their 8th grade field trip back in 1990.

B) Because the one kid is wearing a Lowenbrau beer t-shirt at age 13 on a Catholic School field trip.

C) Because the picture features a glimpse of walk-around character Quick Draw McGraw circa 1990 Kings Dominion.

The answer is C, of course.

Great Pics

I'm always snapping stupid pictures - sometimes just for the family album but more often than not they're for Facebook, Flick, Twitter or this blog. Every once in a while I click off one that just stands out above the rest. Here's two that I've taken recently that I really love:


Here's my kids being perfect angels playing a board game all by themselves one weekend morning. I recroped this picture and I just really love the way it turned out.

Saturday night, after we had six tons of snow dumped on us, I was outside taking a few shots and was playing around with the settings on the camera and grabbed this nice shot of our snow covered abode:

That one be fit for a Christmas card, I do declare!

Yabba-Dabba-Mail

Just fishing for some material for the good ol' blog here, I collected some random photos. First up, this homemade Flintstones-style mailbox which is actually located at the entrance to a quarry in Australia. It sure beats my lame-o mailbox with butterflies painted on it.
